Welcome to the official rebrand of our law firm. I’ve reproduced our press release regarding the rebrand below. Feel free to reproduce or disseminate it as desired. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting additional thoughts on our process and motivation for the change.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jacobson, Sobo & Moselle Rebrands as LAWCRAFT, Taking New Approach to Debt Recovery
Plantation, Florida – October 23, 2013
Jacobson, Sobo & Moselle, one of Florida’s oldest and most respected collection law firms, has rebranded as LAWCRAFT. The rebrand reflects the firm’s new approach, focusing on complex debt recovery matters rather than high-volume consumer work.
The change allows the firm to use their experience and expertise by deploying advanced collection techniques to recover debts that might otherwise go uncollected. In addition to the name change and new logo, the firm has launched its new website (www.lawcraftfirm.com), established a broad social media presence, and commenced a “Learning Lunch” CLE program. The firm will use these platforms to educate fellow attorneys and small business owners on issues relating to debt recovery.
“In recent years, the debt collection practice has been overwhelmed by large, heavily regulated clients with arcane compliance issues that are, at times, antithetical to the practice of law,” said Justin D. Jacobson, the firm’s president. “We have made a conscious decision to eschew those clients and refocus on the craft of being a lawyer, providing our clients with the level of service they require. With the rebrand, our firm name now reflects our approach.”
James Cary Jacobson, Justin’s father, established the firm in 1971 as Rosen & Jacobson. In 2000, the firm merged with another storied practice, Sobo, Levine & Moselle, to form Jacobson, Sobo & Moselle. Justin D. Jacobson assumed control of the firm in 2010, and Robin S. Moselle became the firm’s Director of Client Relations.
